A jury has found all participants in an alleged prison mutiny Not Guilty of all charges after they argued that they were making a legitimate protest to the cuts introduced by the Ministry of Justice last year. Andrew Jefferies QC, with Nicholas Doran of Amosu Robinshaw Solicitors, cross-examined the Governor of HMP High Down about the effects of the cuts on prison life, establishing that the prisoners had legitimate complaints about the introduction of the new ways of working introduced last year as a result of the cuts.
